SHENLEY, HERTFORDSHIRE

LHLA was appointed as Expert Witness on Landscape Matters for Shenley Parish Council (under Rule 6) to object to an appeal by a developer against the LPA decision to refuse housing proposed adjacent to the village and within the Green Belt.

The scheme was for 37 houses and LHLA stated that the proposed development represented inappropriate development in the Green Belt and would cause significant adverse harm to the openness and character of the area, contrary to the Local Plan and the NPPF.

The appeal was dismissed and our client was successful.
